Chiloe and Puerto Varas - Chile

We cook our own food in this very small kitchen in Chileo, fun Met another Japanese girl and doing the famous Japanese pose
Beautiful wide ocean
Some interesting looking leave, almost as big as me
Colourful stilt houses by the lake in Chiloe
After the 4 days of interesting experience Navimeg ferry ride to Peutro Montt. 5 of us, May, Patrick, Brandon and Ceci took the 2.5hrs of bus/ boat ride across to the historical and serene island of Chiloe (just off of Puetro Montt). It is a very interesting island with houses make out of Achia wood designs. It is an island with many natural beauty (a bit like southern Ireland) and it is quite chilly on certian day but I really like the scerenity and Jesuit history behind it. We went for a full day excursion and we totally enjoyed ourself very much, esp. visiting the historicall museum and watching the interesting video presentation on using the cows to help move houses. We also visited the national park, it is a very dense and moist forest, with interesting moss on the trunk of the trees. After 2 nights of stay, we quickly move on to Puetro Varas to see the Orsono Volcano next.
