After 45 days of traveling with Gap Adventure from Peru to Bolivia to South Brazil into Rio De Janeiro. It was a great trip and from it I had met so many wonderful friends. Our trip actualy ends on 29/1/06, but I love latin America so much so that I am continuing my travels in South America till mid April. I will be spending most of the time traveling up along the Northeast coast of Brazil to do some diving and enjoying the beaches, till I reach Salvador for the Carnaval and then fly to Buenas Aires on 3rd March, to visit the Patagonia fro another 5 weeks, traveling up t Chile Santiago. Am looking forwards and excited about it.
In Copacabana, I check into a youth hostel in Copacabana, this hostel is very hip and crowded, I soon got aquainted to my new roomates and we became great friends, especially with Noelia from Agrentina, she speaks little english and I speaks very little spanish, but we often communicate using hand gesture and illustrations, which is very interesting. Lecticia frm Sao Paolo and Paola from Argentina, both of them speak very good english. Actually to be frank travel in a foreign language land is not that difficult as one thinks it is. All we need to do is ask and give the person a smile when ask for a favor. I am having funhecking out checking out places of interest and experience the culture here.
