Potosis to Sucre to Santa Cruz in Bolivia

At Potosis, Local young miners, as young as 13 yrs old

Hey, look out for the new group of miners in style Going down to the 8m mining cave with the olden pulley system
Countryside cycling at Sucre, tough ride, 50% uphill and downhill, exhausted
I had my hair plaid at Sucre with Rebecca, 3 -4 hrs of works

After spending 4 days Uyuni, we too a long bus journey to Potosis, this was once the busiest and most populated city in the world, more than London during the 1611. Potosis was best known for it´s mining activities and richest. We went to visit the mining cave and get to see the miners at work. I was quite disturbed to see the hard life of the miner, risking their lives to work with the bomb and breathing in carbon dioxide, most of the life span of the miners are very short, last not more than 50 or 60 yrs on average, yet their wages are not that much comparatively. In the afternoon, I went to visit the mint factory, to see the production of the coin. I must say that the trip had made me realised that how hard life can be, one is willing to sacrafice the short lifespan for that little amount of income for the momentary fufillment of hunger. I just could not really comprehen the logic of it, but yet, the reality is so true. Let us who life in the 1st world nation, be always grateful to our creator and the remember those who are less fortunate than us.
